At makebook, we believe that it's time to explore the
possibilities and change the times all at once.
Why can't people have a single place to create and manage their content, share and collaborate their content with friends and publish it to final copy or link to other sites? All good questions that makebook has some answers for...
We set out to remove the barriers of text formatting on line by creating a single application to deliver content stability and consistency.
At makebook, we don't see the current format agnostic content world as being sustainable for too much longer. Blogs, multiple text snippets and html offer limited consistency and no assembly opportunities for the author or the reader.
To address all of these issues, makebook is starting a Partner program to work with people and businesses wanting to reduce the distance between authors, readers and writers.
Some examples outside of the personal user space (just to name a few) where we are working with makebook now include:
- Kids clubs where the art of story creation and telling is re-born.
- Clubs, associations and passion groups where content of any type can be created, shared, assembled and published in community controlled libraries.
- Running awesome competitions around the world, across genres and age groups, looking for that next famous author, cook, playwright, poet the world has not yet met and then doing the introductions.
- Professional or budding authors who want to road test, rate and understand the market for their work or indeed publish and sell their stories on line.
- Managing professional 'whitepapers' for focus groups who need to have consistent content delivery and collaboration possibilities.
- Charities and special interest groups who need a consistent content management ability, increasing the value of information, stories and life experiences simply by making it easy to create and share content of any type on line.
The list gets longer and longer every day.
